Here's the local pay for most Food vendors in my area. I figure if anyone lives around the Fort Myers, Naples, Punta Gorda, or Port Charlotte area and are lurking would enjoy knowing.

The info I have are either directly from me, or fellow vendors I've asked and verified paychecks with.

SunCoast Beverage Sales LTD(Budweiser) : $140 a day, 2.50 per stop, 0.05 per case of beer loaded on the truck. Chinese overtime.

I averaged around 700-800(net) a week here, but I would advise against working here expired beer is deducted out of your pay. The good; they hire people with permits, and well train you to obtain your CDL for "Free". you must work for a year with them, or pay $500 if you obtain your CDL using them. They mostly service Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Labelle, Imokalee, and Lehigh Acres.

Coca Cola Bottling Co. : 16.98 hourly (real time and a half)

This is probably the most lucrative job locally; that being said I've seen those guys hit the 70 mark within a weeks time. This distributor covers the entire Southwest Florida region, but focuses on central fort myers, Cape Coral, Labelle, Imokalee, Estero, Naples and Lehigh Acres.

JJ Taylor (Miller Coors): $130 a day, 2.15 per stop, 0.10 per carton on cigarettes. Chinese Overtime.

I average 700-800(net) a week here, but the amount of cases thrown versus budweiser is almost half (500 cases VS 600-1300 cases per day). The good; all new CNG Kenworth trucks. JJ taylor focuses on almost the entire state of Florida, depending on which warehouse your dispatched from determines your locale.

CBI (Cheney Brothers Food Service): guaranteed $850 a week, or route pay whichever is higher. I do not know the formula for their route pay, but I can find out. The good; all new Cascadia trucks some of the best pay in the area. The bad; days off are not back to back.

*I will update with more later
*Pay provided is new hire pay rates, and ignoring longevity raises.

Lehigh Acres, I've heard that, that place is pretty much a real estate boondoggle, that went bust or something, there's a documentary on You Tube about Lehigh Acres it used to be some rich guys horse ranch or something and then was developed in the late 1970s or something, but it was weird it didn't quite take off. I know Florida, Arizona and CA got hit hard 2008-now during the big housing recession lots of half built homes and stuff.

Lehigh is pretty much what the city of fort myers used to dump all the section8 people. It's a gold mind for beer; I used to clear almost 52k a year delivering to the ghettos. Pure natural ice 4 packs.

I've honestly thought about buying a house in the boondocks away from everyone.

But yeah it was undeveloped for years. I remember my uncle bought a plantation home in the mid 70s on like 12 acres off of bell road.

Why do people insist on posting their net in regards to pay.??? It's meaningless to other people. Your gross is all that matters.

Anyway, yeah I used to deliver to a store in LeHigh from orlando. Lots of Mexicans. We did good volume there.
