Hey everyone, I’m thinking about moving to Southern California and wanted to get some advice from drivers already out there.
I have a CDL A fully endorsed, worked in LTL for 5 years (1 year city and 4 line haul). Not sure if LTL is a big market in Southern CA or if I should move on from it when we move out there.
- Which LTL companies are the best to work for in Southern California?
- Which companies should I avoid?
- What’s the average weekly mileage you guys are getting?
- Which terminals stay the busiest?
- How hard is it getting hired right now?
- What companies offer the best pay, benefits, and home time?
- Is it better to live in the Inland Empire or closer to LA for trucking work?
- Any recommendations for companies with good schedules and long-term stability?
I’d appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks in advance.
