I know they have junk equipment. They bring it into our yard dirty, we wash it, preload it, and set it back in our yard for them to pick up. I hate moving their junk around town. Haven't ever talked to any of them though. Might actually be a good place to work if you don't mind the equipment.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Does SIMX run regional? Local? I am moving back to So. Illinois at the end of Feb. I am looking for something OTR or regional. In my experience when a company does'nt spend alot of money on newer equipment there is more care for the drivers.

That may be. I never did talk to their drivers so I can't comment on that. Can't say I remember how the trucks are either. Never really paid attention. Where at in So IL are you moving?

I see them around from time to time and it looks like they are getting at least a few newer trucks. I talked to a couple of their drivers here and there, sometimes we load at the same places and the ones I've talked to seemed pretty happy. Most of their trailers are junk though. You can look at them or Beelman, southern Il. seems to be a pretty good spot for either.

I currently work for SIMX. They are in the process of upgrading to new equipment. They are getting new trucks about every other week to replace the older ones. This company is in my opinion a good one to work for. I have over 15 years experience and the work here is pretty simple. Do they have OTR and regional, and local work yes they have all three.
