Companies like this will continue to exist as long as monkeys are willing to drive for them. If you want to put the bottom feeders out of business as they should be, boycott them. However, this is wishful thinking and will never happen.

    I totally agree.
Why strike! Lets all just quit. By the time the smoke settles things would be alot different out here and we'd be treated like Human beings and not some animal left on the roadside to perish.. Ive never, nor will I ever work for this bunch.. Heard to many horror storys over the years. Just nothing like this.

I'm just wondering about something - how many of YOU would have put the coffin and his personal possessions in your truck and picked up the cost of bringing him home?

Doesn't matter what size company Giggles. I agree that it would be the right thing to do.

But its not the companies responsibility to make it happen. Morally or otherwise.

    Note to self:

Don't pass away out on the road in a SRT truck.

For that matter, all those OTR outfits would probably do the same.

Want to talk about morals... I think it's morally wrong for a truck drivers employer Whom was working for and dies while working for them to demand cash payment in return for his body...

Any person who believes that SRT was morally right in this situation has a lot of issues and needs to take a long hard look in the mirror

Companies shouldnt be made to help in these situations.

They should want to do it out of common courtesy and respect for the families of their employees. Shame shame SRT.

This is so wrong. It is the responsibility of the company.

What's even more sad is that there are drivers who defend these companies when they do these types of things.
