Storm Prediction Center has seriously upped the Tornado risk and overall risk to high as of a few hours ago. This is developing into something those of you who are headed into LA will need to pay attention to today.
Some of it is coming up into Arkansas and we might have a few tornados before too long, it's our Nature. But Texas East towards the LA Border has some ongoing as I type this.
I'll add to this as the day progresses, it's relatively quiet due to the time it takes for the sunshine today to heat things up and really crank it across these three States. When it does take off, it's going to be pretty intense for some of you.

A PDS which means Particularly Dangerous Situation has been issued by SPC. It only happens once or twice a given year.
Here is as follows. There is a standing tornado watch area already in existence, this PDS supersedes and has top shelf priority over all other watches.

It's time to introduce another way of tracking storms. Texakarna Tx has a tornado warning to it's SE, and a check of the storm chasers, both those who are currently live broadcasting and others who are traveling to intercept is displayed in real time here.

Alexandria LA has posted a Tornado Emergency, I will have to take a look over that way and see.
A TE is the highest possible warned tornado storm situation. It usually means there is one on the ground tearing stuff up and hurting people who are not underground or in strong purpose built shelters.
SPC is pretty much bending over backwards for sake of LA.

Supposed to be another bad day in the southeast tomorrow morning and afternoon. Northern and central GA seems to be the epicenter. Should be interesting for me since I'll be driving up 75 tomorrow afternoon from southeast GA.
