Speeding ticket?

    One of our drivers was pulled over for speeding , 70 in a 65, with no break from the dot officer. I was told by my driver he wasn't issued a formal speeding ticket rather a level 3 inspection ticket, with 70 in 65 speeding on it.
    How will this affect co record and will it affect his personal driving history? I have never had this issue. He will need to pay $75 ticket, but what about points?
    He has been with us for several years and this is his first ticket in his 30 years of driving.

    His mvr will be clean
    If it was 70 in a 65, there are no csa/psp points (for 1-5mph they stopped giving csa points in 2012)

    First ticket in 30 years I wouldn't lose no sleep. That is an excellent driver in everybody's book. Thank you officer have a nice I'm going to keep trucking. That is the way I would look at from company side & driver side. Enjoy the ride

    My truck does 76 .....you should see what it does loaded going down a grade :)
