This code all of a sudden pop up. I cleared it several times already with my OTR tool thinking it could be a casual ghost code that has happened before and disappeared. Usually takes several resets before it’s gone. The trick has been running fine. Found a you tube clip that says before replacing any injectors, to use the Insite program and to reset all the injector codes back to default, says it cured the problem 90% of the time. Any thoughts on what to do or where to start if the problem persists ?

Wow, I can’t believe all the responses
. Anyways, after doing my own research, there was several ways to troubleshoot without using the insight. I started with cleaning the ECM/injector harness that goes on the side of the head. It was oily and that “might/could’ve” been an issue to draw that code. It’s a start. I was thinking maybe there’s an O ring behind it but unfortunately No. According to my research, the oil travels thru the harness from the injectors side. So basically it’s failing. So I’ll be keeping an eye on it and might end up purchasing the harness. Will keep this posted.

Same, wish I could help. One thing I do know, oil passing down the injector harness is a common problem on many engines.
And i've seen it so bad it infiltrated the ECM. I'd adress that pretty quick.BoxCarKidd, The_vett, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -
I agree. I’m going to keep an eye on it. If it seeps here pretty quick, I’m ordering the harness.The_vett, Big Road Skateboard and Oxbow Thank this.

Well, I’ve been keeping the injector hardness clean, I check every few trips, however, I ran into a dealer mobile mechanic, he told me to check the engine hardness to the ECM, as you had mentioned that the oil will most likely trickle down that path. Well I removed the bottom end with the 2 8mm screws, and behold, it had a slight residue. I cleaned it all up with electrical cleaner. Now I just have to replace the injector hardness which is the culprit of this whole scenario. He told me to start there and every few days or so(week), remove the engine hardness and clean it up, eventually the oil residue will be gone(dried up). At least I’m going in the right direction, no codes have pop up since I’ve been on top of this.BoxCarKidd, Oxbow, The_vett and 1 other person Thank this.
