Very rarely do I hear of random trk searches.Besides only time its really done is when crossing into Canada or the driver gives them reasonable cause to search your truck. If a driver reaks of alcohol ya they'll search your truck, you look glassy eyed and stagger when you walk ya they'll search your trk.

LOL!!!!! I could care less if the company looks in my truck. I have nothing to hide and my .45 stays on me and not left in the truck.
The last few companies I have worked for I bring the truck home on time off anyway.

The only thing ever mentioned by any employer is how clean my truck is.

So besides the cameras you invade sleepers for fun too!...

Those trucks and any POV parked on company property are subject to search at all times......right now we let drivers take the trucks home but we'll be putting an end to that to reduce all the deadhead and OOR miles.

"Random" truck searches are done on reasonable suspicion. I have never undergone a truck search because I don't give my company a reason to search my truck. Cameras remove the reasonable suspicion portion from the equation. Punishment before crime. Doesn't work that well in the long term, historically.
