haha, I was so bored on a 7 day cruise I started doing stairs. 12 flights all up so I started with 1 set first day, and finished doing 3 sets by the 7th. I found with a reasonable consistent pace my heart didn't really start pumping till about level 8 or 9, but felt like I was going to explode at 12. I'd top out and descend straight away giving the body 12 stories to recover before going again. And yes I did ponder on having a heart attack all alone in some gordy stair well on a cheesy cruise liner. I'd do it before 6am when no one was around and before the gym was open, and lost almost 8lb.

Isatso? Well, luckily I live in a downstairs apt. in a 2 story apt. building with no assist to the 2nd floor, and caters to retired and slow movers, it's downright heartbreaking to watch these folks struggle up the steps. Steps are the nemesis to a person with mobility issues.

I moved and brought my elderly parents along for the ride, houses on flat ground and no trip hazards are like properties I imagine that cater for mobility issues. Its surprising how little there is when you priorities some pretty simple basics.201 Thanks this.

Heard it said. You want to get a stairmaster? You got stairs in your house? Down to the basement? Use those.
