Starbucks need to please social media may end up costing them a few dollars.

I've been to a Starbucks twice.

One time I was WAY early for a job interview nearby, so I went in to get a coffee.

Two people in front of me, spouting that "half-caf-gluten-free mocchiado" lingo.

I get to the counter: "Large black."

She looks at me like I just placed a turd on the counter.

"Tall, Medium, or Grande?"

Sigh. "I want a black coffee in the largest cup you carry".

"What kind of coffee? We have a sustainably-sourced Algerian/Somali blen-"

"Plain. Black. Coffee. In a really big cup."

The "turd face" again. "Well. We have Columbian....."

"Fine."

I think it was like six bucks, and didn't taste very good. Not sure if it was old & burnt, or brewed to quadruple strength to stand up to all the milkshake ingredients the flakes put in it.

Second time was at a Thruway Service Plaza. Same result.

Never again.

 

eh i like some of their drinks. their coffee is pretty good. i frequently grind and drink black coffee from home. in the event i go to starbucks i’ll get a white mocha or something with extra espresso. maybe once every 2 months. my daughter could live off that place. her mom is 100% responsible.

i could care less about their political stance and all that jazz. i’ve been in several times with a gun & knife on my person and no one asked me to leave. this is after i pulled up in one of my many vehicles lacking emission control equipment.

 

Lemon or Pumpkin bread , don't like there sandwich.
There naked orange juice and yogurt cups are good and healthy alternative to big chain TS.
Always stop and the ones on the Ohio TP.

 

My daughter has better attendance than some of the employees at the one by my house. Only one "person" working there is on the SJW kick. The rest just want to throw marginal coffee out the window at record pace.

I hit up the local mom & pop place down the street.

 

Is it a rule to work there you have to be able to fit in to your girls/daughter/wifes/sidepiece pants?

I can get over your expensive froo froo coffee but...seriously...wtf is up with the chick pants on dudes!

I truly dislike Starbucks, mainly due to the attitude you get from the customers an staff. "I"m better then you, I drink $5 cup of coffee". I enjoy walking into one and screwing up everyone's day by ordering a soda. It's great. The dirty looks, the whispers...you'd think I just walked in wearing a bunny suit and dancing on a pole. An that's just the staff!

On a slightly serious note...I know all the staff, etc isn't like that. Sadly, the ones I've had the painful experience of visiting...suck.

Ah, well...more coffee for you all!

Starbucks doesnt have coffee on the menu... They have a whole bunch of other crap that they add a little coffee to... Why??? Because kids now days dont know that coffee is supposed to be bitter and look like hot motor oil.

If it will float a spoon and scauld the bottom of your stomach... It might be coffee.

 

That looks like a recipe for diabetes!

 

Starbucks does have coffee like motor oil , why all the hate.
