Starting a trucking company

What organization helps truckers start their own business?

 

Well, you will get a varied amount of opinions here. 1st, good for you, most successful business people make it off several venues today. While I too will say it's the wrong time as a stand alone business, if your other business is doing good, maybe a trucking company will provide you with the loss needed to gain ground, as silly as that sounds. My biggest concern, is,,,you have an excellent chance of losing EVERYTHING,,and if a sideline business even has a remote chance of doing that, I'd pick something else. Scamming the elderly on dating sites has better results. Insurance, repairs, inadequately prepared drivers, FUEL,,and general uncertainy are just a few of the things that can ruin you and all you hold dear. I'm sure the food biz isn't exactly sound either, but open another cafe, or something, just don't do trucking.

Interesting..........everyone seems to think it is more difficult to succeed in trucking than other business ventures.

If you have the cash buy trucks on the cheap from everyone going under ....sell them at a profit or if you know a Bruno maybe open a buy here pay here truck lot and make the big money
