They may take the first few months feeling you out and seeing how you like to manage your time. Everybody that comes there says "I want to run" but they need to figure out how that particular driver defines "run". Some have a 9-10 hour daily drive limit. Others will run 10:59 every day. Some are happy with 2,500 mile weeks, some prefer 3,500 mile weeks if the loads will line up right.
Some want to run until the chain lights start flashing. Some want to run until the appointment says they need to string together four 10.5 hours (or better) days
There will be occasional "off weeks" every now and then as there are no matter where you work. And because of the longer loads and maybe missing cutoff times, gross pay can sometimes fluctuate wildly.jeff18 Thanks this. -
And there will be 2-3 weeks strung together where you will want a slower week just to catch your breath.

I generally run as much of my clock as i can every day.
