I have a question, if I wanted to start a business and get the permits required to start, would I need a cdl? I wouldn’t do any driving.

Go for it, no cdl needed to own a truck.
Definitely not the best idea I've heard though. -
No - but I believe insurance will want your driving record regardless of whether you’re a CDL holder, or not.
-
Why would they? They are not insuring him to drive it. Now his credit score might come in play. -
In fact. If I found out our esteemed President, CEO, Founder and so forth etc is all hat and no cattle without a CDL, his or credibility has gone out the window. I need bosses that can do the same stuff I can do, just not as well so I can teach them better. -
Progressive wouldn't insure our authority without CDL holder being top manager (owner, CEO, president etc.)
Therefore you may have difficulties at some point. -
Truckers respect people that been down in the trenches too. Its annoying when my white collar broker argues with me about how Atlanta doesn't have traffic during rush hour since he has never been there.
SavageMuffin Thanks this.
