Starting orientation w/ Earl L. Henderson tomorrow

Back on the road after a week off. Took a load of beer to OKC. Just missed the big tornado. It's a sad situation down here. Getting loaded in the same area going to City of Industry, CA. And it is storming again!!

 

i just dodged the tornado by an hour yesterday

 

Dropped that load in Kingman, and picking up a load off that yard going to Franklin Park, IL

 

picking up a load in seattle washington and taking it to montgomery alabama

 

the good thing about being on the logitics side of henderson is getting to pick the deliver time and controlling my hours how i want with paper logs

 

Don't I wish. I was on paper logs for about 3 months this year. They couldn't fix the elogs and I didn't volunteer to go get them fixed. I hate elogs. I am always driving tired, always. I am forced to drive through rush hour, park in areas I don't deem safe and as I said, drive tired.

The one size fits all approach of the FMCSA sucks big time.

 

I agree. Not a fan of them. Have driven tired cause of them also. Didn't make it to Franklin Park. Gave it up at Caseyville so someone could go home. Not a problem. Sleeping at the yard tonight.

 

if you buy your own truck you can have a choice to either have them or not
right now im in hendersons logitics making alot more

 

Heck no, no truck for me. I would rather not pay for fuel and repairs.

 

Didn't go to Franklin Park since the load was running way behind. Picked up in St. Louis going to the Denver area. Already preplanned from Ft. Collins to Sacramento.
