Starting out at Halliburton Cement...

The crane takes the baskets of chicks and pipe off the truck and lifts risers to the wellhead but that's about it.

So I read the whole thread, and is Haliburton still hiring people without their CDL's? I only have my CDL permit. I read on here that they were rejecting people without full CDL's cause their school was full.

 

In my class we had 97, 14 of us already had cdl's. But yes they put everyone else through their two week cdl school. If you do that you're committed to staying with the company for at least a year otherwise you owe them 3500 I think??? If you already have it you have a major leg up on others. Yes they're hiring now, hiring event is on Tuesday.

 

Does anyone happen to know the procedure at Halliburton when you're applying from out-of-state? Do they have you fly in for your interview and physical or is the interview over the phone and your physical at a local clinic?

 

Fly you in? Is that a serious question?

 

Thanks. That sounds pretty reasonable as far as evaluations go. I already have my CDL so I'm looking forward to start driving.
