I'm set to start the apprenticeship at prime monday. I already have my permit so they said i want have to do the class trainning. I will be put with a lease contractor and i will travel with him/her for 2-4 weeks then go back to MO and get my license and from there i will be on payroll as a company driver. After 40000 mi i will be an A seat driver with the option of doing a lease contract. I will be usisng this as an oppurtunity to learn the flatbed industry the correct way. They say i will be paid about 600 a week.

So is this a bad deal for a newbie driver with permit.

Go read the Prime forum. There are plenty of threads describing the whole process. The PSD will be closer the 4 weeks than 2, and the 40k miles will take 8 - 12 weeks. I highly suggest that you DON'T lease out of the box, but that's just me. Yep, $600/week minus deductions, (taxes, advances, insurance, 401k, etc.)
