The Iron Tiger/ Mack/ Volvo 'experiment' is succeeding in the sense they have had very low shipping volumes. Although Iron Tiger employees are still 'represented' (company imposed) by the IAM (Machinists); they are working under the pathetic 'give back contract' demanded by JHT prior to bankruptcy in 2007. Keep in mind that JHT Holdings only competes with itself so the 'bankruptcy' was just 'posturing' on the company's part - many contractors/ service providers got ripped off big time as a result.
