I don't like New York . But we don't force NYC, and the rest of the state isn't that bad.
Also high average miles means if I do end up in NY, I'll be headed back west.

 

Any of the 5 southeastern most states. Hate them all equally.

 

Anywhere in the northeast.

Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Jersey are ok.

I don't even know why we just don't give the rest to Canada.

 

I try to stay out of the state of confusion. However, I find myself there often!

Why would they scare you. You come down the same as you come up, but a little slower than the rest. But not too slow as to screw up anyone coming over behind you.

Come east and we will show you some grades that are really short and brutal. The west is easier to run. Just bigger and higher is all the same.

There is no particular state left to stress about and stay out of. If they were just as much trouble 40 years ago they will be the same or worse 40 years from now. Nothing will change.
