    I’m a “transplanted Midwesterner”

    (Illinois born and raised)
    So I don’t have the thick New England accent.lol
    Now my wife however,who is originally from here,lost it a little bit when she was living in Indiana (met her in Chicago at a nightclub) but she got it back when she moved back!

    My Boston accent is so bad even after being in Florida for 16 years. Lol, even when I was a little kid my mum sent me to a speech therapist..because I replaced R’s with AH..example; It’s not Lobster, it’s Lobstah :)

    Boy, do I miss the New England food..getting homesick now.

    I’m from New Hampshire. The older locals talk that way, not so much the younger ones anymore tho. I can pick up a Boston accent from a mile away though lol. It’s one all it’s own.
