I am so glad I just went and bought a huge thing of popcorn. I'm going to need it for this show.

I am not saying anything - they owe me money. I am just waiting to see what happens. UPS envelope thrown in yesterday, I am going back to sleep for a month.

Thanks for your input. I have to say that overall my wait times were not too bad. When I first started my deadheads also were not bad. There were some long deadheads, and I did end up shipwrecked a few times but I am not going to lie about it I think it was comparable to what I have experienced elsewhere. This year I have ended up taking time off to try and take care of personal business for my business. 2 complete waste of times in Rapid City SD trying to change residency, license, reg etc. I should write a thread about that.
A total waste of time and not the fault of Status ( I gave up in the end!). Again to be fair they got me a load into and out of Rapid City - not an easy thing to do but they managed it.
Wait times and deadheads in 2013 have been worse than 2012. That is a combination of things and only partially the fault of Status.

This thread started because they were monkeying with my money and it finally made me boil over and I picked up a keyboard. I should have quit on the spot at that point. There was reason to. Instead I stupidly stayed and this has got deeper. Everything I have written is gospel truth. There is more but I want this to go fallow and to focus on the important thing getting PAID.

I don't know about you reader but I couldn't care less about any company I work for or with, my loyalty is to myself and my family. I am there to make money not friends. Believe me they feel the same way about you, despite any stupid niceties! We all want to live on a desert island somewhere sipping margaritas and doing nothing but we can't. So we sell our services to someone or set up for ourselves in conjunction with someone else. Show me the money!

To make that a smooth profitable path for everyone there does have to be TRUST. As soon as they start with the delays, nickel and diming, imposing bogus fines and fees, lying about pickups etc, running right over the top of the contract we have a problem. The trust is gone and from that point you wonder where you are going to be screwed next. It is over it can never be repaired.
I cannot for the life of me understand why in this business companies pull this crazy stuff over and over again. It doesn't matter if they are large or small they just love to try it on. I have made a stand here and I am glad that some of you find it amusing. Hopefully you will never find yourself in a spot and people laugh at you.

Now I shall be quiet unless there are any other serious posts such as Horse Whisperer's or bogus plants such as Crazywheels.
In conclusion Status is not the worst trucking company you can sign on with but it is only fair you should know what you are signing up for. Make up your own mind. It is what this section of the forum is for, it has helped me already several times.

    OPUS 7 Thanks this.

    Update

The $544 bogus trailer 'wear' charge was refunded - good!

A $500 'fine' is imposed for missing logs! 2 problems with this - 1. No missing logs. 2. It is not in my contract and totally illegal. - bad!

It is like running in sand!!
