If you are willing to tarp a load for .01 cpm....you are part of the problem, and not the solution.
If the average load pays 650 miles---you are averaging $6.50 for tarping. YOU THINK THAT'S WORTH IT?!?
You are correct...flatbed, tarping, securing a load IS hard work; and a driver deserves to be compensated fairly for it.

I'll let you in on a little secret: Companies charge anywhere between $80.00 to $120.00 for "Tarp Required" loads...and YOU are happy with six dollars of that?!? YOU DID ALL THE WORK! So the company gets to keep $0.99 on the dollar because they own the equipment you are using?

Here's an idea people----stop letting guys like OTRNoMore dictate your tiny little check, and stick up for yourselves! For the love of God there are loads that take the most experienced truckers 2 hours or more to secure and tarp...and apparently OTRNoMore is willing to do it in the hot sun or strong wind for a whopping $3.25 per hour.

    You people are killing me:biggrin_25512:
