So I got a new to me truck when driving it the steering was shaking pulls to the right and twice it seems like the steering wheel goes limp and gives a 1/4 turn of slack a slight jerk but the steering comes back. Took it to the dealer right steer tire had no weights on it. Steering wheel shake is mostly gone can still feel a slight vibration. Tire shop says that I have a suspension issue dealer says there’s no issue any ideas

Shakes are always something out of round or out of balance. A pull is alignment related. If the tires are worn, it is possible to have an alignment, but for it continue to pull because now the tires are worn a certain way. To counter this, have your steers swapped side to side. This may cause a slight pull to the left, but with the crown of the road this might work out to be even or at least over the course of time, wear itself back to somewhat even.
