A 33 year old driver for Stevens out of Dallas, Tx was killed yesterday(8/6/17)@mm 277 northbound on 1-81.
Police identify truck driver killed in I-81 crash

The highway is fairly straight @ mm277, I wonder if something mechanical happened or a medical issue caused this accident??????

    mjd4277 and Lepton1 Thank this.

This is one of those times it would help determine what happened.

I highly suspect "distracted driving". Here is a "young 33 year old male" and I would not rule out a medical issue but it is highly doubtful and although, personally, I would not even think about driving for Stevens, but what I have seen, they do run 1st class equipment and I wouldn't think it was a mechanical problem.

I would say either distracted or it could be possible he was cut off or something like that and panicked causing him to roll it...

I know the guy is no longer with us. But I sure hope the cause of the wreck wasn't from a I pad or some kind of device distraction. There are too many wrecks these days because of handheld electronics.

I wonder how long he been solo driver since Steven Transport is a team driving company and he was the only driver in the truck

Several people die a day related to distracted driving. We all acknowledge the danger, but a percentage of us all still do it anyway.

Does anyone have a clue about how to put a stop to it? Or is that just the way it is...

It's very probable,... or he thought he could push it a little farther and fatigue got him... it's alarming the amount of drivers I see with that hand held phone typing or whatever..... and that's AFTER the big penaltys and company policies were instituted.
