I currently work for Werner. I'm on the Dollar General account. I work Tues thru Sat. I usually gross 830.00 to 1000.00 per week. It's not the best money in the world but it's not bad. I have no complaints to date.

I have no experience with stevens or werner so I can't comment on them, but roehl has been a good company so far.

If you show up with your CDL straight from school, you will go through Orientation I and then out with a trainer for 5 weeks. During that time you will have to drive in all 5 regions of the Country including driving down 2 mountains under load with no Jake and deliver to NYC too.

After this 5 week period you will come back to the yard for Orientation II after which you will be sent out with a finishing trainer, or another Student (known as the dumb and dumber run) for three weeks.

After that you move to the Grad fleet, which is company solo for 90 days with a lot of input from your DM, after grad fleet you will be cut loose as a Co solo driver after which you are free to remain as such or go the Alliance lease route.

p.s. - the 5 regions as defined by Stevens are the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and West.
