It rained some here and did a little of this and that but *Shrugs whole lot of nothing. Gustav and Issac as well as Rita and Katrina (We took a 40 minute outerband feeder from that one... talk about sideways rain.) were more impacts.
Im watching Florence due to hit between Hatteras and Jacksonville by next thurday via NHC as a 145 sustained storm. There is also Helene coming through the leewards, those paths are really dangerous to us historically and will end up in the midwest. There is 4 more coming off Africa overland that will probably develop into something once they hit the Atlantic.
When the NHC finishes with a storm, you shift to your local NOAA product for your area. Type in the zip code and it will come up with your specific area. The Nation is divided into 5 mile blocks and models are run on all of them every 6 hours and warnings etc are updated every 5 minutes in real time.tucker Thanks this. -
What’s with this storm? Looks like it’s about to hit you @x1Heavy

Probably remnants of what would have been Issac.
It's not much of a concern for me. We might get a little rain out of this by monday. A few inches.
We are going into Tornado Season before winter.tucker Thanks this.
