Student Driver Takes Out Power Lines

Generally anyone who cuts a powerpole gets billed all of the costs for a new one. It was about a cool 5000 dollars per pole in my time when I worked with the gas company on the truck crews replacing them decades ago.

 

I blame the utility company. Lines shouldn't be that low.

 

Oh, oh, lights out everyone,,meh, it's job security for the power co. crew.

 

Swift will be calling him shortly......

 

Lines shouldn't be that low. But there are some scrape marks on the side of the pole. if they hit the pole and that caused the lines to come down it's a different deal...

 

Student drivers get a 2nd chance. That’s the law.

 

Or he went down a street with one of those no truck sign thingy's.

Everyone thinks they are for weight or noise, then SURPRISE.

 

The truck driver's identity was not released....it won't matter. His company only addresses him by truck number anyway.
