I don't know which worries me more, --
that Michael Flitcraft wants to carry a firearm on campus, or that he just might have a good reason to.
I wonder if the teachers and other instructors feel the same way about students carrying firearms on campus and to classes?
Or, maybe they feel the same need for the same reasons?
Pretty good when tenured professors and students are targeted just like the folks who work at the local Stop-N'-Rob convenience stores.
At least the convenience store workers know what the thugs are after. But, why shoot students and/or their educators? Does that make ANY sense?
Why can't Johnny read

I don't believe in gun control, but the idea of walking into a mall or a school and thinking the person next to you might have a gun is worrying. Or even the teachers. So the solution to stop the fear of a crazy young person carrying a gun is to have another crazy young person carrying a gun? In your home, it's different. You're allowed self defense against intruders. Out hunting it's different, too. But in public? Can I trust the average twenty something to make the right decision?
