Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Sure, but it depends on the company. Most of the larger ones do in an effort to help keep their costs down.

they sill where last i heard

I called a couple of weeks ago, they aren't taking students in Nashville.

Also keep in mind your first paycheck isnt till after 30-40 days of driving. Just because you deliver their miles and are on time doesnt mea you will get paid.

Oh uhh gee, did I happen to mention they still havent paid me for training? promised pay at .30 cpm and paid at .13
They have wonderful deductions too! $25 per time you call safety (whom wont lift a finger to help you) for flat tires. $50 deduction to advance you money, of which they were 2 weeks behind on.
All I am saying is, if you expect to get paid right off, DONT! Dont expect them to go the extra mile for you. Yet if you dont go the extra mile for them they declare you hostile? LOL
I was expected to get on a greyhound to retrieve a abandoned truck. A recruiter had told me "I could call you a cab". So I waited for 3.5 hours. The boss walked by, he went and asked the recruiter, whom came to me and declared " I said I could, but if you need a taxi the phone book is just in the door". Nothing says motivation like some one who "could" but does not. (the pic is when I picked up before we detailed it)
You will get paid, some day. Just plan on them soaking you if you expect to get paid like the other workers. My trainer had said, the best way to make sure you get paid was to take the paperwork yourself to the terminal and hand it in yourself. That way the company couldnt declare (and yes they did for me) that the paperwork was misplaced and your paycheck will be along when they can find it.Last edited: Sep 9, 2009

splain it to us Ricky........is this in their employee rule book? -
Ricky? who is Ricky? not me.
All I am saying is, if you work for them, you may or may not get paid. If you and when you do get paid, dont be surprised if you find that they have altered your paycheck. -
Funny they charge $25 for a phone call to get a tire fixed, yet nobody can tell us why.
