Subway [Sandwich] Franchise Woes

Yup they sent him to the pokey for at least 15 years.
He’ll still be able to get a foot long (with extra meat)though.

 

Same here. Had a steak and cheese at the one in the Speedway truck stop in Mattawan, MI. Spent the next two days sick as a dog.

My daughter worked at an Indian-owned franchise in Alabama. She’d throw out veggies she thought were bad and the owner would dig them out of the trash after she left. Another employee tattled on the owner to my daughter.

Both of the above ensure I’ll never set foot in a Subway again.

 

I be been to a few where the “sandwich artists” couldn’t even tell the different between ham and turkey. And more than a few that looked like they weren’t even keeping stuff stocked or looked like the items were starting to go bad. Walked right back out to the truck and just decided to nuke a couple of cans of chunky soup..., at least then I could make sure I didn’t spend the rest of the week blowing chunks.

 

Had Subway today for the first time in awhile. They now offer Gluten free bread for $1 extra per 6" sandwich. I wonder if that's as fake as the chicken they sell?

 

Maybe it’ll convince pilot and loves to quit putting subways into all their new stores. I’ve been to several independent places that had sold out to Peelot and had the restaurant replaced by a crappy subway.

 

Reminds me of Boston Market and Krispy Kreme. Both of those over expanded opening too many locations at once. The writing might be on the wall.

 

I will never eat at subway in Wamsutter Loves again. Couple years ago I got a sub there luckily it didn’t hit til I got to the house. All weekend I was on the toilet. I should of know better cause there was a boat load of flies in there and the girl left the door up and not closed on the food. Big mistake on my part but I was hungry AF!

 

Subway closing 500 stores in U.S.

 

Hopefully majority of those are in truck stops
