Last week a 4 pound box 250 miles $800 on Friday. Tuesday I had 2 boxes going 247 miles paying $950 I used the pickup only. Both were ASAP That is not everyday loads but an example of light loads paying the best.
I have seen people pulling 6 car trailers with hotshot trucks. I wanna do same eventually. Any advice please!!
My advice would be get a big truck for 6 car trailer.
Save money and buy a newer truck. An older one like you mentioned will slowly put you out of business.
