Suggestions for Companies with Terminals near St. Louis, MO

Hello All -

I apologize in advance if this has recently been covered....

I recently completed CDL School and have received my CDL-A with all endorsements. Now, I am in search of an employer that either has a terminal in my area (St. Louis) or does not require drivers to park at terminal.

I understand that as an inexperienced driver, my options are somewhat limited. That said, the mega carriers do not appeal to me a great deal however I’ll explore all options. My hope is that folks on the forum can make suggestions so that I can start researching them.

Important to me:
• Home weekly (or close to)
• Highest pay possible (again, I realize that I’m a newbie)
• Company culture
• Tuition reimbursement
• Pet/rider policy (not deal breaker I’d do not have)

Not important to me:
• Type of freight (I’ll drive anything)
• Equipment amenities (bells and whistles do not excite me - pay does)
• Drop and hook (I do not mind laborious work)

Companies I’m Considering this far:
• TMC
• WEL
• Southern Dairy Transport (SDT)
