I’m not trying to measure anything, it’s just that you randomly show up and say things that aren’t necessarily true then disappear.

Yes it does matter how many tires are across each row. When you have 4 tires per row that is one axle. When you have 8 tires per row that is 2 axles per row

No, that’s not how it works. Your permit says how many tires per axle2, 4, or 8. Is the steer a half an axle because it only has two?

I am not on the boards a lot. It may be 2 weeks before I look on here and spend an hour or so reading up. A lot of great stuff to learn on here

That is actually true what you said there, but does not work the exact same when you are dealing with dual lanes. Permits on dual lanes take sometimes months and have to have route surveys, bridge analysis, etc. Not a routine permit application to fill out.

Well if I say something that you do not think is true please ask me to show you some type of factual data to where I came up with the conclusion I did.
And when is it a crime to be "randomly" showing up on the boards? There are many times I look on here and do not post anything. Am I suppose to post something just to make my presence be known?
And when I first posted on this thread I even commented that 19 axles were over my head admitting to not really knowing much about them and you come in an reply with a striking remark. Sounds to me like you seem intimidated by me. Well please do not feel that way. I am way out of your league. I am not trying to step up to you sir.

I’m fully aware but that doesn’t change anything, an axle is an axle whether it goes clear across or not.

    Here’s a 20 axle dual lane, it’s not a 40 axle.

It’s not a crime to do anything in here and you’re more than welcome to post or not but you only seem to show up to question or “educate”. I will take you up on your invitation to question your conclusions.

    cke and Oxbow Thank this.
