Everybody jump ship? I am still there.

FYI there is a handbook you can download on the new paylocity site we had to log into for Jan check info. I never could find vacation and personal/sick day info on what they handed out. There is only 1 classification now PTO (paid time off) and you accrue it weekly. Works out to 19 days with 10 years of service or 2.91 hous per week. That's 3 days less than with Superior but we were paid less for personal/ sick days.

I was thinking it was actually some extra time with Heniff vs Superior based on my time with the company (9 years, 10 in April) Heniff caps out at 4 weeks instead of 5 though. I must’ve figured wrong.

Should probably note that as an office lackey I don’t get personal days like I did when I was a driver, so that might make the difference.

Still here trying to stay positive but I just can't find much to be positive about if anything. After all I'm still fighting if my name is James or Jamie..... not a super hard concept. Heard you all are losing people left and right down there Rob shame to.

Still here. I don't get what people are gripping about. I think people just don't like change and will find anything to ##### about. Ya Heniff won't be as great as Superior but thats life. Deal with it.

Anyone having problems with pay? A couple guys I know say it takes 4 or 5 paychecks to finally get their pay correct. Mostly issues with layover and demurrage.

You have to keep track of it. It's gotten better since they have been giving us settlement sheets weekly that breaks it down by trip number. The paylocity app lumped everything together to the point you couldn't tell what was paid and what wasn't.

Any owner ops with just a compressor here? Is your load volume affected because you dont have pump?

Not currently an O/O with Superior/Heniff but I was up until last summer. Of my three trucks, two had a pump. I only used the pump a total of maybe 10 times. I guess it really depends where are you dispatched out of and what kind of freight they have. It's something you would want to ask the Terminal Manager. My overall experience has been that the customer usually had their own pump/air for offload.

Hey ncdriver. thanks...the reason i ask is Heniff pay structure
    OWNER OPERATOR COMPENSATION
    • 68% Pump AND Air equipped
    • 67% Pump OR Air equipped
    • 65% Not Pump or Air equipped
if its worth having a pump installed for one percent more

It takes awhile to pay for a pump or compressor looking at that point of view. However if it keeps the truck moving and getting the bills paid. It pays 100 percent to have a pump or compressor. Good luck in your decision.
