One more thing i should probably tell you, not sure if anyone else has, about routing. On thursday(yesterday) while driving across I-80 in PA i needed to stop and get some windshield washer fluid. I added the pilot at exit 97 in dubois, pa as a via point. It wanted to take me down rt. 219 which is correct but then it wanted to take me to rt. 830 make a u turn if possible and bring me back to rt 219 go through the light to their parking lot. When all you have to is go to the light where 219 and 830 intersect and turn left. And why does it tell me to do a u-turn if possible even though i have it set for no u-turns.

A warning just popped up on my unit saying unit is running out of memory please turn off and restart unit and if problem continues plug unit in for one of our free updates.
I turned the unit off but now the thing won't turn back on at all and the red light came on in lower right hand portion of the unit. That light has always been green in the past. It's the battery indicator light I believe. Since I can't turn the unit on I am unable to get one of those free updates. So what do o need to do here to resolve this strange problem? Where do I start Mark?Mark Kling Thanks this. -
I was able to get my unit back up. What I tried and it worked was stuck a pen in there to hit the reset button and it booted up. I then plugged the unit into the computer and did an update. Don't know what it updated but it said new updates available. Assuming it is construction update most likely and/or POI updates. Glad I was able to get it booted back up quickly. It's amazing how lost and confused a person gets after relying on GPS technology for 4 years then it crashes and you don't know where to go or what to do, then it hits you and you think dang I have to get out the map and do what cavemen did in the 70's and 80's then there is that whole North, South, East and West thing. Remember, sense of humor people. Take care.

Just curious. I'm glad the reset worked. Hopefully the other guy that is having the similar problem knows you have to stick something through the hole in the side of the unit to actually get in there to hit the reset button. I know not everyones eyes are the best so I'm just throwing that out there to try to help him out and not meaning to be offensive. I did the reset with the unit plugged up into the laptop when my unit was not turning on then immediately after hitting the reset button the unit turned itself on without me hitting the power button.
Good luck to you, hopefully that unit will start working for you and Mark gets you going.johnq Thanks this.
