You know, I am not a fan of Rand Mcnally any more. GPS software wise it's not bad when it works. However, I have to PAY for my brand new GPS to be fixed because I never registered it (way under a years warranty) and don't have the receipt? This is after replacing my old 700 because the button went down inside of it so I bought a 510. After 3 weeks of using it, the dang thing won't even turn on! I have tried every power source I could think of thinking it might be the sockets but no, it just won't turn on for whatever reason.
I was a big believer in this GPS brand, It's left a bad taste hardware wise. When the thing works it's flawless... But $99 to send it in.. Oh and it upset me enough that I haven't used a GPS in the past 2-3 months.. Which might be a good thing. I've learned alot more about reading maps and finding routes. -

New Maps are looking great so far. They stand to have anything and everything that was reported. If a road issue then it may/may not be in the new mapset depending on if NavTeq corrected it.
Any Issues of restrictions/road issues/POI issues that are turned in here are reported Directly to Rand and I usually have an answer back with 24 hours. Remember also Truck Stops is ongoing also, so with the ones being rebranded/closed/open that is a DB in progress also. But, please by all means report them here if you wish.
Thanks,
Mark -
If you wish to write a "nice" E-Mail, then by all means you can send it to me and I will forward to Rand.

Many Thanks for TTR working to get this very important site back up. It was sorely missed the last few days.
MarkKnotme, k7tkr and Balakov100 Thank this. -
Mark,
In regard to the warning post- as well as a night mode, does it really need to take up the whole entire screen? Sometimes, the pop-up happens at a very inopertune momement- and for whatever reason can't immediately clear it. Meanwhile the map view is blocked. More of an issue when on surface streets then the interstate especially when a lot of navigation needs to be handled- ie, a lot of turns.
MarkDieselboss and Treefork Thank this.
