When you updated to ver 2922, is it still freezing?
Have you updated the maps at all?
Slightly squeeze the USB end of the DC cord to provide a more snug fit.
Thanks,
Mark

I have tried everything with the powercord. it feels loose when it is plugged in to where it makes that solid click letting ya know its in. I have to back it out and mess with it to keep it from looking like a disco ball lol red green red green. as far as freezing every time i update i always have to run a repair diagnosis to fix broken files. It still does it. The maps are up to date. That was a pain it took 3 tries and the gps crashing to get those to work. Im just paranoid one dark morning im going to miss a sign and get stuck down a street in L A i cant get out of because it isnt truck route.

Did you lightly squeeze the USB end of the Power cord as suggested?
The files it keeps "fixing" are probably 3 files. There is nothing wrong with them. It has to do with the CRC count when it looks at the files.
Does the light go from red to green with the AC Adapter?
Thanks,

A couple weeks ago my navi exe crashed hard, got it home did diagnostics found 24 files and fixed them.On my last trip, last wk unit was doing some strange things like not knowing where the road was but navi exe did not crash. Got it home today and it found another 23 bad files and fixed them. Is there something else going on here as having that many corrupt files twice in a row doesn't seem right.
Do you think I should delete the map files on the unit and reload the ones you sent me a while ago?
Thanks

Going West on PA Turnpike (76) towards Chicago.
Added the FJ in Carlise via the POI.
1501 Harrisburg Pike
@ I-81 Exit 52/I-76 & Exit 226
Tried to get me to take the Exit before 226. Then when I ignored it, wanted me to go past the FJ..keep going North on US 11 for 10 more miles and turn left.Mark Kling Thanks this. -
Checking out the 720 now, tho I do like me 510, rand 720 just has a heck of a time finding addresses in pennsylvania However, it has located correct addresses if towns close by are used. Still seems confused enough to add mileage to a run that isn't needed in the state of pa. I figure its the signals it gets to read. As silly as this may sound, f one takes time to plan using a road atlas first then enters the route by town, history and saves, it will stay on the chosen route. If one simply stays on a written course after planning by road atlas, automatic re-route will kick in the correct route once the signals that confuse a route are passed and enough space where they aren't picked up again. I refuse to follow a route blindly.
