Florida operates on the point system offering 30 day, 90 day, and one year suspensions not 60 day suspensions. Since the tickets were paid (he is convicted) there is no case for the officer to respond to.

More likely the two tickets were of such a nature that they put him over the threshold in 383.51 and he is disqualified for 60 days for the two convictions within 3 years. A state court (Or county circuit) can’t change that.

Even safe drivers aren’t safe 100% of the time.

That should not happen. A lawyer should respond in a reasonably prompt manner.

Looks more like his dad will not respond, not the lawyer. :)

They probably were considered serious violations per D.O.T. Hes not really getting suspended, just disqualified for 60 days. He can still drive his 4 wheeler but not a truck. Virginia is a bad state to get a ticket in. I got two of those disquailifications while I was driving and theres not really much you can do about it. If the lawyer cant get one or both cut down, which is unlikely, you just have to deal with them. If they werent considered serious violations by D.O.T. then yes he should keep fighting them.
