Lmao..i stopped there a few weeks ago..i feared the i40 traffic west..had an hour left to make nlr.. my plan was right but the truckstop not so much..just stay in the truck lmao

 

Is that the crap hole at the 221 on the north side of 40?

Sweet peas used to have a great rib/catfish Buffett until it was sold to non-American interests. The middle easterners who run it now have no interest in quality...just want to get by as cheaply as possible.

 

yep this place has turned into another rat hole dump

 

these "middle easterners" have run quite a few places into the ground, i wish they'd go back to convenient stores and motels, and leave truck stops alone.

 

I have only stopped at Sweet Pea's once to take a nuisance break. I would not use it for much else. I did not eat the food. My favorite part about the truck stop was the fact that they had Brim's and Golden Flake chips.

The truck stops on the other side of the highway are a little better.

 

If you want good catfish or BBQ, stop at Nicks at exit 183 in Carlisle. That's some good ####.
