Swift & D.O.T physical

The original post was written by a 21 yr old with the words Swift, Physical, and TotaLLY NuDE and the post ended with a question mark. Even Gandhi would have had to poke fun at that.

 

i dont have a question .i was just trying to help someone trying to get a job. and in the hard times we are in everyone needs all the help they can get.as well all the info they can get --BRONCO--

First off: Baack you honor me that you asked me to help. I mean that sincerely.

Secondly: I've been on a number of site forums, all types including several Christian ones. This is the BEST forum I've ever seen. The members here CARE about the industry and each other. They like to have fun, speak their minds and some times we step on each other's toes but at the end of the day.....99.9% of the members here are exceptionally fine people who would help another person in any way they could.

Thirdly: The physical is like any other physical and I can only tell you about what I've been told and what I personally experienced. In Phoenix there are two doctors, a male and a female. The male doctor sees male students, the female doctor sees both. My husband said the men had to strip. The women stripped to their under garments. My exam was done very modestly. I took my own drape and I was covered completely the whole time. I'm an extremely physically modest woman. The doctor understood. Frankly I just loved the female doctor and would see her as a private patient if she took anymore.

I understand if someone is modest, many don't. Perhaps it's not fair but yes women are treated with a bit more modesty at these things. I suppose everyone figures you guys are so use to group showers for athletics and military physicals that you wouldn't mind.

I started my 2nd driving career with Swift. My terminal was in Greer,SC. Bunch of driving school grads and a couple guys like me who had been offroad for a number of years. We're all standing around waiting for the physical.

Doctor walks in, sweeter than Richard Simmons, prissy like Zsa Zsa. "Dear Lord, this must be a test...", I heard an old hand say.

Thankfully, I'm an ugly fellow. One of the grads got a rubdown.

Someone was telling me they make ya
strip down and I just wanted to find out
if it was true or not.
