Serious question, why would you guys want to drive for Swift? I want to know why new guys flock to the worst companies with the lowest pay. I assume you do not know any better?

did you already go to school or is Swift helping you get your CDL?
all kinds of trucking companies in the Chicago area and more across Illinois that accept recent cdl school grads.

although Illinois is a crap hole state , it not keeping you from being accepted to a company

There's a lot of grant money in Illinois right now. I would look into that if paying for schooling is a concern. Check your local unemployment office. And YES, contract training should be the last resort; you have a better success rate from companies/schools that are set up to help you succeed.

    Drive safe!
