    Anyone drive for swift? I'll tell you what truck stop to meet me at, you ask me to help you slide your tandems. then you proceed to flatten my foot and I'll sue for three million split two ways? We could both skip to the bank!! well one of us would skip anyway.

    Swift will appeal.
    Like they always do, they will appeal and drag it out in court for years...
    2.6 mil is a drop in the bucket for them.
    Swifts strategy? Appeal appeal appeal...

    I'm wondering how that tandem release lever got SO bent that I can't pull it out?
    ???
    And, why a trailer with current inspection dates has this problem.

    I run into the problem from time to time.

    But, really!
    How does it get bent like that?

    All the same, that O/O was at fault.
    We all know it is dangerous to play two-way while pulling the lever.



    I would really like to know, however, how the rod gets bent like that.
    It seems to always be bent upwards in the middle. Never sideways or down.

    Not really hard to answer that question - when swift drivers don't get paid for bringing a trailer to a shop, what do you expect? They pass it on to the next driver. Being cheap ends up costing you (2.6million In This example). that's the swift difference, best in class right?

    So SWIFT would be responsible for hiring/ training drivers. Who's fault is it they were trained incorrectly ?
