Which one is recommended as for as best place to start my career? I already have the CDL. No endorsements or experience, though.

Didn't like any of these on your other thread?

    Freymiller - www.drive4freymiller.com - refrigerated trucking.
    Navajo Express - refrigerated
    Dynamic Transit - refrigerated
Mountain Valley Express - line haul
    KKW Trucking - dry van
    James H. Clark & Son - refrigerated
ALTEC Industries in Pomona - dry van
Gatica Transport in Los Angeles - dry van - intrastate (stays within California)
Gardner Trucking - Truckload, LTL, Dedicated, Refrigerated & Port Drayage
    East-West Inc. - www.goeastwestinc.com - dry van
All the above hire new cdl grads from California even though the headquarters may be outside California.

Most of those require me to fly out to another state just for their orientation. :(

    They pay for it though.
Navajo flys you to Denver for example.
KKW is right there with CRST in Pomona.
Gardner, Mountain Valley, Gatica are in California.
    Anyway, good luck.

Many companies fly them these days and many give them a rental car.

You'll be hired unless you fail a drug test or lie on the job application.
Don't sell yourself short; start with the good outfits, then work your way down if necessary.

I'm not at liberty to disclose any details but I found out several days ago that a young man needing a break got one. He got hired by one of the most selective trucking lines in the US. He simply owned up to his mistake and told the interviewer he was tired of living his life that way and would make a good driver. He starts orientation I think next week.
