Especially if the one or two check any DEI boxes. Then that creates the intolerable optics problem.

It could be your camera...every trucks' software integration is different. Shoot, in two different Volvos from the same year I notice software differences. I'm sure there is also similar inconsistencies in the camera software from truck to truck. My camera software hardly triggers me for anything.

The software integration is different with many things in various trucks.
It could be a version of software, it could be how the mechanic at a certain shop set things up.
It might be how the sensors are calibrated and/or aligned.

They do not seem to have a true standard that they copy and paste, a settings file that they can just simply load from a thumb drive.
A simple option to import settings, like saving and importing bookmarks in a browser. Too simple.
But, no. It is all done manually by hundreds of people with hundreds of settings, and the 'standard' settings can change in a different shop or with a different mechanic or if you happen to be at a dealership for service.

My favorite was a truck that had a no-idle range of 48-68. Then there was the one that had to be below 20 or above 80 to idle.

Freightliner issued a directive for certain DD-15's to raise the idle speed because of poor top end lubrication.
They raised my idle speed when I was in a dealer for a repair and they explained the problem to me.
The next time I was in a Swift shop they dialed it back down. That was a truck that had 3 top end failures, the same failure each time.
The repair they were doing at the time was for the second time it happened. I wonder why the third time happened?

Ohh, to keep my truck on I connect to a trailer, test the trailer brakes, push the yellow knob, and put my shoes on top of the throttle with a 2x4 propped underneath the pedal to hold 900-1000rpm idle. That way I can get my a/c to 60⁰F all I want. Management has said A B S O L U T E L Y nothing.
