We just bought a 2006 Kenworth T2000. We noticed the flooring had been covered over an started investigating. Under the carpet there is a small amount of standing water that appears to be coming from the front of the truck. There is no collected water in the evaporator, but we couldn't check the drains yet. Any idea what this might be?

Is there anti-freeze? If so then it could be from the heater core. They can leak into the vehicle. With carpet and sound absorbing material it would soak up much of it so you wouldn't get a large puddle. That or the A/C condensation is draining back into the truck.

On the 06 t2000 i drove the drain tubes underneath the hood for the ac would clog up during the winter and then the next summer they would back up and overflow into the cab.

could be windshield leaking

Find the drain tubes and blast them with compressed air. Of course, if the drain tubes are not draining, you will fog the windows when you turn on the defrosters.

Thanks a lot for all your help and ideas! We think the windshield is leaking, it rained yesterday and the floor was wet again.
Everyone have a very Merry Christmas!
