I haven’t been to Ohio in awhile but got a load that delivered in Toledo last week.
While traveling up I-75 and running out of hours I stopped at a TA located at mm 111.
After parking and wondering if there was a good place to eat within walking distance, I decided to go inside. I’m glad I did!
i was expecting the usual fast food, cold pizza, over priced sandwiches that have become the norm.
Nope, I was surprised, it was like stepping back in time. I started driving in 2000 and miss the sit down restaurants, the friendly staff and in general good, filling food.
This place had it, a full salad bar, a full buffet that included T-bone steaks, fried/breaded pork chops, meat loaf, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, mixed vegetables along with bread pudding.
All that with a large ice tea, $22.00
If you’re passing thru and want a taste of how truck stops used to be, stop. You won’t be disappointed!

Since when does toledo have more than a burger King?
Sure you weren't at the Hub in Wapakoneta? That is a decent joint if you like salt. But still better than most. -
For pizza and adult pops. Try Joe's place off ex 99 behind LO tire. Also a good quiet place to sleep. -
