After 5+ years at home, she is not in favor of doing this again as it was a cause that led to many of my troubles to begin with. I’d like to say I’ve learned to not fall into that trap and those habits, but I’m sure the temptations would be there. it’s nice to know that there is an option there should I choose.

I filled out the application. Now to find the courage to submit it. And the wrath it may cause with the spouse.

Submitted just to get the background check and and stuff out of the way to keep it an option. I put my potential start date for after the new year. I should have everything straight by then

Just giving you another kick from 1st post, for good measure.

You started this one about 1yr after I got started out here & must have gotten lost in the mix back then, when I was actually more active here.

Very rarely have the time anymore to hang here, but came across 2 days ago while taking truck down for a few minor issues to tend to.

    #### you, kept me up an entire night just reading through the entire thing. I could not stop, after I saw some of the things that were happening to you.

I personally want to thank you for putting all your tribulations out there. It came at a time where I really needed to see that someone had a medical situation worse than my own recent situation & still could not be kept down.

You are truly an inspiration to me & I thank you.

Also, I always thought I had the worst luck in the world. No longer..... Did not think it was possible, but you got me beat there, too, with past business issues.

Thank you for your story & the best wishes/hopes for you in whichever direction you decide to go.

There is NOTHING in this world that is ever going to stop you.

This has been my single absolute favorite inspirational read since I joined 11yrs ago.

Best out to you & your family. Hope for nothing but good luck for you going forward. Lord knows, you #### well deserve it.

Fair warning & advance advice to you.

DO NOT come back out here & lease purchase. It will NEVER, EVER work......;)

I don’t know that I’d jump into that leaky boat with nothing but duct tape and determination.

    Feedman Thanks this.

I would have been at 21 years trucking, but I had a 5.5 year interruption. So I’m a 21 year cdl holder instead.

I’d consider saving up 20k for buying a day cab and just run regional loads , but with a factory rat JOB (Just Over Broke)
    $20k is a pipe dream.
    One step at a time.
