Taking another swing at it

I am not considering doing anything until after the new year

 

This situation is reliant on other people to do what they say they’re going to do. otherwise I can just cheese and milk it until April 2028. Then apply to Wally World. (They require 2.5 years recent experience and hazmat)

 

It’s been a few weeks since I submitted my background check. I thought I’d get a response by now

 

I got a reply saying they’re still working on it.

 

I ended my week with 759 miles before they sent me home for the weekend. Dry van stuff. I head out Sunday with reefer cheese, then another dry reload back to Michigan. Is it just me? Or is there writing on the wall trying to tell me something?

 

I was trying to set up for the transition with my nephew, and already have the conditional offer of employment from USX. I have to wonder if they have good team freight.

 

At this point, I have to start my focus on me. As much as I’d like to do the team thing with my nephew, I can’t afford to wait around.
I’ll talk with my current company to see what we can do to remedy this lack of income. If nothing changes by October, I’ll be looking elsewhere.
I was reading about K&B and the primary complaint about them is they want you to do night driving and splits…I Do that now!

 

I had a biopsy last week. Results came in yesterday. There are no signs of rejection on my transplanted kidney. However, there is damage to it from chronic kidney disease. This will not last my lifetime. So my clock is ticking until dialysis is a thing again. I need to make stacks of cash in a hurry while I still can. I was unprepared last time. I need to be ready this time.

So my question to the universe is what is the best path forward?


I will have my 1 year experience from regaining my CDL on October 2nd. I have my N endorsement and still waiting on my Hazmat background

 

I may add that I must be home at least 1/months for infusion
