Wonder what the current FSC is at these companies that lease in house?

 

So I just got FUBAR. I cleared my government background check and got my endorsement and all that, but a bad review from a former employer from 2012 was flagged for review. Which doesn’t make sense because usually they go back 10 years, not beyond. So now I’m waiting on corporate FedEx to clear me. I’m in limbo waiting to see what I can do. My old job already had my position filled. Stress filled days are here again,

 

I have 2 companies calling me already. The shock put me in panic mode, I guess it’s a drivers market

 

Now FedEx contractor called and said FedEx will push my app through within 24 hours. So we will see. Note to self: trust nobody.

 

Green light. I start tomorrow

 

That’s the rumor

 

Day 1, ride down to Saginaw, then drive to Toledo and back to Saginaw, then home. today I go from Gaylord to Alpena and back. 87 miles one way. And that’s it.
Tomorrow I do Toledo and back. I have a. Eld, but have yet to turn in any paperwork or documents for direct deposit. I thought those would be done by day 1.
am I driving for free this week?

 

Got my new hire packet to fill out. I go to the yard at 10 am to demonstrate I know how to hook up converter dolly to a trailer. Then I actually leave at 3pm. Be home about 2am

 

Another short haul to Alpena today. Pays $90. I think I got hired as a substitute spot driver. I thought it was 5 days of line haul. Not going to pay bills with 2 spot days a week
