Geez, it got hot AF. Won't take a mechanic ten seconds to figure this one out.

    Paccar products?

I'm not going to say there's a degree of poetic justice in this.

Cruel and unusual beat to death highway in THE COMMUNIST STATE and the victim was a Subaru.

    Really we aren't rofl.

I hope they were all vaccinated and wearing masks.

Wheel seal leaking, driver didn't see it. Hub heated from friction and snapped off.

Bud A., JoeyJunk, mjd4277 and 2 others Thank this.

Yeah, and it only takes a 1/2 wrench to tighten the bolts on the seal when you notice oil leaking out.

Chances are that KW may have had hubcaps on the drives, which is why it wouldn’t be caught. Look at all the dirt collected near/around the bearings. That truck may have been sitting for awhile.

Either way,the trucking company/owner operator is on the hook for a new Subaru Forester!
I wonder if Subaru will use it in one of their “They Lived” commercials...
