I ran between 200-500 miles. Living in Chicago here's what I typically ran.
Chicago - quad cities.
Quad cities - Detroit.
Detroit - Peoria/quad cities.
Quad cities - Morgantown KY (haz)
Chicago - Minneapolis
Minneapolis - ft Wayne or Nashville (haz)
IN - Morgantown KY
Quad cities - Toledo
Toledo - Gary or Chicago.
Detroit - Milwaukee.

With you living in OH, my guess would be a lot of upstate NY or western PA back to OH. That's just normal dump work. The dirt could be anywhere. Talking to guys on the dirt side, at the end of the year, I don't know if they really made any more then I would of.
I left after 4 months and came back to pulling tanks. Not because I didn't like the company, I liked tankers more and couldn't pass the offer I had. If I was going to pull dumps again, I would go back to Page in a heart beat. Everyone was great to work with.

I went to Time DC. Not home everyday, but regional with the occasional longer runs. I've only been here 2 weeks, so it's a little early to tell what home time will be like. Ask me in a couple more weeks and I'll have a better idea.
I know if you're near Joliet, AJW has an opening for a "local" guy. The current local guy went to regional.
